CR PDP Holds Victory Rally

pdp rally 1On the heels of her overwhelming victory at the gubernatorial polls, the Peoples Democratic Party in Cross River State this evening held a victory parade from the premises of the Calabar Municipal Council, through a large portion of Marian road through Mary Slessor Avenue.

Governor-elect, Ben Ayade, flanked by his wife Linda, deputy governor-elect Ivara Esu and the state chairman of the party, John Achort Okon, led a team of elected party men and faithfuls who sang and danced in open roof vehicles to a large crowd of spectators. Ayade who will be sworn in as governor on May 29, 2015, acknowledged cheersfrom an exuberant crowd that lined the length of the streets.
