CRS: Prospective NYSC Members Stranded As Registration Portal Crashes

Posted on June 11, 2024June 11, 2024 By Admin No Comments on CRS: Prospective NYSC Members Stranded As Registration Portal Crashes

Hordes of prospective National Youth Service Corps, NYSC, members in Cross River State are stranded and may not be able to take part in the one year mandatory service year after the NYSC registration portal crashed.

The first signs that all was not going to be well were noticed when the portal began registration and crashed exactly 12 hours after, this past Saturday, June 8, 2024, leaving the registration centres in major towns in the state beseiged by anxiously concerned prospective corps member, parents and guardians.

NYSC headquarters reacted to the situation with a statement to the effect that “conflict on the link between NIMC access to NYSC’s database”, was responsible for this disruption. Insider sources in Abuja remain optimistic that registration days will have to be extended to cater to this technical glitch.
