CRSG Makes U-Turn Offers Fmr Assemblyman Fresh Appointment

Posted on March 27, 2020 By Admin No Comments on CRSG Makes U-Turn Offers Fmr Assemblyman Fresh Appointment
Ofegobi

Less than 48 hours after www.calitown.com published a story on the decision of a former two-term member of the Cross River State House of Assembly, Mfawa Ofegobi’s decision to turn down an appointment offered him by the governor of Cross River State, Ben Ayade, the state governor appears to have listened to wise counsel, cancelling the appointment offered the former assemblyman and offering him a fresh one.

In a letter with reference number GO/PRESS/012/VOL.1/170, dated MARCH 27, 2020 and signed by Christian Ita, SA Media and Publicity to the governor, Ofegobi was offered a new appointment as Director General, Corporate Social Responsibility Agency, stating clearly that his earlier appointment “has been withdrawn”.
Ofegobi confirmed to www.calitown.com that he will take up this new appointment.
