Posted on September 5, 2015September 5, 2015 By Admin No Comments on Gunmen Snatch Former Security Chief’s Brother In Calabar

kidnap 6Unidentified gunmen, early Saturday morning, are believed to have taken away one Asuquo Ekpeyong Ekpe, elder brother to Ita Ekpeyong immediate past Director-General, Department of State Security Service, DSS, sources in Creek Town, Calabar, have informed www.calitown.com

One source said the gunmen abducted the elder Ekpenyong at about 4 am and fled with him through the creeks to an unknown location. Most family members are still in shock and are refusing to volunteer information. However, a family member who does not want his name in print told www.calitown.com, just moments ago that contrary to speculations in some areas, the kidnapping of the man they believe, can be linked to criminal groups that operate on the Cross River estuaries and not any other group, for now. At press time, the kidnappers had made no demands or established contact with the family.

The police in Calabar have confirmed the abduction.
