Law Association Inaugurates Exco In Calabar

Scales of JusticeThe Executive Committee to pilot the affairs of the Law Officers Association of Nigeria, Calabar Chapter, for the next four years has been inaugurated at the Conference Room of the Ministry of Justice, Calabar.

In his acceptance speech the new Chairman, Barr. James Eneji Amajama said he would work assiduously to protect the interest of members as well as move the association forward by pursuing its cardinal goal which is the welfare of Law Officers in the State. He pledged his unflinching support to the new executive members, and the management of the Ministry of Justice and expressed hope that members would work hard to sustain and even surpass the present success story in the Ministry.

The new executive committee of the association which emerged after a keenly contested election has Barr. (Mrs.) Oby Adidi Egba as Vice Chairman and Barr. Moses Inyang as Secretary.
Others who were also elected are Barr. Sunday Eke, Assistant Secretary, Barr. (Mrs.) Lucian Eriom, Treasurer, Barr. (Mrs.) Ama Ekpo, Public Relations Officer while Barr. (Mrs.) Gloria-Martins Effiom and Barr. (Mrs.) Nelly Ewelike won as Welfare Officer I and II respectively.

The former chairman of the association Barr. Leo Mofi while handing over, implored the new Exco to ensure that they work towards the promotion of the virtues, aims and objectives of the association while projecting the good image of the group.
