“Let’s Get Busy! No One Knows The Next Minute”, Jarigbe Tells C’River Politicians

Cross River North senator, Jarigbe Agom Jarigbe, has taken to his verified Facebook page to lay down critical advice to politically elected officials from Cross River State and all other politicians in the state, currently embroiled in a phantom fight for political visibility and relevance ahead of a distant 2027 general elections.

“I strongly think it’s preposterous to waste so much time on conversations about 2027, when our people are suffering so much in our rural communities across the State”, he began.

“We should concentrate on delivering on the subsisting mandates”, advising those who have ambitions for 2027, to “know that they have inalienable rights to express themselves. For those of us who hold various mandates, we have a greater task in our hands.” That major task he explained, “is delivering on our social contract with our people and ameliorating the hardship being experienced by the people who voted for us.”

He concluded with timely philosophical advice that should be instruction for all: “Let’s get busy! No one knows the next minute. The time is now! I refer us again to Lamentations 3:36 & 37.” (the Lord does not approve of the mistreatment of people … nothing happens unless the Lord has commanded it.)

“He has spoken like the deliberate leader that he is. You can see that he is more concerned with dividends delivery than looking at things that are not in his hands. Who among us all can be sure of the next day when all our lives are in God’s hands?”, a source who has elected to remain anonymous texted in to tell us.
