CROSIEC Chairman, Patrick Otu, informed calitown.com in the early hours of this morning that the local council polls will be held across the state contrary to the rumour being peddled that the election has been cancelled.

Hear him, “…the election has not been cancelled, you people at calitown.com and well meaning Cross Riverians have my word that everything is in place and the election will hold. Those who say it will not hold may be talking about another election”.
