No Word Yet On Kidnapped Catholic Diocese Of Ogoja Priest & Members

Posted on November 25, 2022November 25, 2022 By Admin No Comments on No Word Yet On Kidnapped Catholic Diocese Of Ogoja Priest & Members
Rev. Fr. Ochang

Security sources contacted in Cross River and Nasarawa states, have informed www.calitown.com that there still have been no contact established with persons suspected to be behind the abduction of a Catholic priest, Rev. Fr. Peter Ochang and an unknown number of his church members, travelling through Nasarawa State to Abuja, the nation’s capital.

Ochang, parish priest of RCM Parish, Alok, Ikom LGA, Cross River State, is believed to have been travelling to Abuja with some members of the St. Jude Society in his parish, for a religious event in Abuja; their participation in the event is however unlikely as they have been since been abducted.

The news of their kidnap was broken Friday morning, during Mass by Rev Fr Fidelis Kajibia, the Administrator of St Benedict’s Cathedral, Igoli Ogoja.
