PHOTO SPEAK: ICRC Provides Water For 2,000 People In Cross River

Posted on November 26, 2019 By Admin No Comments on PHOTO SPEAK: ICRC Provides Water For 2,000 People In Cross River

2,000: That’s the number of people who are served every day by the water scheme facilitated by the International Committee of the Red Cross at Ekang community, Akamkpa Local Government Area, Cross River State.

The community plays hosts to refugees from Cameroon, and now the refugees and their hosts no longer have to travel far to fetch water.

As the Nigerian Afrobeat maestro, Fela Kuti once sang, “water no get enemy”, we are proud to bring safe water closer to the people of the community.
