Etubom Essien Cobham, the father of the Cross River State deputy governor, Efiok Cobham, kidnapped this past Friday by unknown gunmen in his Creek Town country home in Odukpani LGA, has been released, a statement by Hogan Bassey, Policd Public Relations Officer in Calabar, has revealed.

Hogan however did not give details as to how Pa Cobham was released or whether any ransom was paid.
