CRSHA Declares Obudu House Of Assembly Seat Vacant

Just days before his remains will be interred in Obudu, Cross River State, the Independent Electoral Commission, INEC, has received communication from the Speaker Cross River State House of Assembly, declaring a vacancy in the Cross River State House of Assembly in respect of Obudu I State Constituency, formerly occupied by the late CRSHA member, Stephen Ukpukpen, www.calitown.com can reveal.

Similarly, the Senate also declared vacancies in the Bauchi South and Katsina North Senatorial Districts. With these development, INEC shall proceed to conduct a bye-election in the Constituency. We gather that the Timetable and Schedule of Activities will be released next week as contained in an INEC release signed by Mohammed Haruna, National Commissioner, dated 13th July, 2018.
