Caucus leader of the PDP in Bekwarra Local Government Area, North of Cross River State, Clement Oshaka, has at a grand reception for elders and members of the party in the area, drummed up support for the candidature of Ben Ayade, the PDP’s gubernatorial candidate, insisting before the large gathering of party faithfuls that Ayade has more than enough capacity to steer the ship of state successfully, when elected as governor of CRS.

At his Afrike, Bekwarra LGA, country home, venue of the occasion, Oshaka made it clear that even though the gathering, which was to appreciate the commendable support party faithfuls in the area have given him in particular and the party in general, it was not out-of-place to again solicit the support of party faithfuls as the elections draw near. He charged them to mobilise support for Goodluck Jonathan as President, Ben Ayade as governor, Rose Oko, Legor Idagbo, Idagu Agaji, for the Senate, House of Representatives and CRS House of Assembly, respectively.

He also appealed to party members to put behind them whatever differences may have arisen from political positions taken, so that their one-house contribution will help ensure a resounding PDP victory at the polls.

rps20150112_130416Responding on behalf of the party faithfuls gathered at the ceremony, Tony Mogbo, Aga I Effenji, among others, commended the leadership qualities of Oshaka, his humility and discipline which have played an integral role is the peace and successes recorded by the party in the area. They promised to carry the caucus leader’s message to all nooks and crannies to ensure that PDP’s victory will be total, in Bekwarra LGA.

Traditional dances also graced the well attended occasion.
