As recognition for reporting Cross River State news and views over time, online news portal, www.calitown.com will tomorrow, Thursday, May 25, 2017, be honoured with the prestigious Legacy Award for what the organisers of the awards, Profiles and Biographies, described as our “…  strategic contributions to the development of Cross River State and the nation at large”.

Kammonke Abam, Chief Executive Officer, CEO, of the biographical and supplemental information management company, who signed the letter mailed to co-founder,   www.calitown.com, Iwara Iwara, dated May 23, 2017, again stated that the award was “… aimed at acknowledging and celebrating those who have made impact and have bequeathed legacies … This award will be presented to you alongside eminent Nigerians  ”.

The strictly by invitation ceremony  which coincides with the grand finale of commemorative activities for the 50th anniversary of Cross River State will hold at the Transcorp Hotel, Calabar, from 11 am. Contacted for comments, co-founder www.calitown.com, Iwara Iwara, said “I am elated that an award like this has come our way. I know about Kammonke Abam’s high professional standards and if his company has found our professional efforts worthy of recognition, I can only say that he has given us more than the moral and professional push to forge on … I thank him and his entire team”.

Profiles & Biographies, a biographical and supplemental information management company, are the publishers of “Contemporary Who’s Who in Cross River State” as well as “Breaking Barriers: Autobiography of Margaret Ekpo”.
