CRUTECH To UNICROSS: CR Gets ‘New’ University

Posted on February 15, 2021February 15, 2021 By Admin 1 Comment on CRUTECH To UNICROSS: CR Gets ‘New’ University

Cross River state has a ‘new’ university, following the conversion of the Cross River University of Technology to the University of Cross River State, and the signing into Law of a bill to that effect by Ben Ayade, governor of Cross River State and Visitor to the University.

The Bill sponsored by Peter Odey, who represents Ogoja Constituency in the Cross River State House of Assembly, means CRUTECH now becomes a conventional university, running all courses.

Sources inside the institution applaud the switch and separately maintained to this paper that the switch will open a vista of opportunities for several indigenes of the state desirous of a university education.
