Magazine For Plus Size Women Debuts In Calabar

Posted on November 28, 2017 By Admin No Comments on Magazine For Plus Size Women Debuts In Calabar

Toosh Delight, a specialized interest magazine catering to the needs of plus size women, will debut in Calabar this Thursday, November 30, 2017 after her launch and official presentation to the general public.

Publisher of Toosh Delight, Calabar South-born Nkoyo Daniel, informed www.calitown.com that “we hope to help through this magazine, build confidence in a lot of plus size women, especially those who are stigmatized and seem to have lost confidence in themselves. We have taken it upon ourselves to tackle this and show our society that being plus size is not a curse, but something natural that should be respected and appreciated.”

Daniel who majored in Policy Studies and Administration from the University of Calabar, has in the past co-ordinated activities for Fab Sisters and La Belle, two groups dedicated to plus size women activities. The event will take place at 355 Restaurant (Mayfair Lounge), Shop A4, SPAR, Calabar, Cross River State. The general public we gather, is cordially invited. Plus size women are those whose bodies are larger than the average person’s.
