New United Nations Peace Ambassador awardee and Peoples Democratic Party, PDP, stalwart in Cross River State, Ojong Agbor, says at all times, those who aspire to lead at all levels in Nigeria should imbibe the virtue of humility in the discharge of their leadership functions and relafortionship with all manner of persons.

Agbor who spoke exclusively with www.calitown.com also added that those who are humble duely reap benefits and clearly understand that the virtue of humility is a Christ-like one. “If we are humble, our approach to leadership positions will see us serve the people diligently and the people will in turn embrace followership that will enhance development”.

On the the UN Peace Ambassador’s award presented to him, Agbor said he has God to thank first for granting him the award in recognition of “my little contributions to the society” as he continues to push for peace in a society where crisis effortlessly prevail. He also expressed appreciation to the organisers of the event for finding him worthy for the award.

“Those who say I have been playing an outstanding role in mentoring the younger generation with simplicity in service, humility and have also functioned as a peace mediator in the state, should not forget that our state governor, Professor Ben Ayade, deserves commendation for providing me and several other youths the opportunity to be seen and heard. We must continue to support him as he takes on the difficult challenge of governance” he concluded.
